- Canada – Wildfires are interrupting delivery. Please expect delivery delays.
- Lebanon UPU indicates a resumption of postal services across all Lebanese territories with the exception of the southern region, which continues to be affected by ongoing military operations.
- Chile – The designated operator of Chile, Empresa de Correos de Chile, in the Coquimbo and Atacama regions are currently being affected by a weather system that is causing heavy rainfall. The transportation and delivery of inbound and outbound mail to and from the Coquimbo region will be delayed by at least 24 hours. The EmIS notice lists the areas that will not have home delivery services until further notice. In addition, the operating hours of some branches and agencies may also be reduced where necessary, resulting in delays in transportation, collection and delivery of letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items.
- Gibraltar –The Royal Gibraltar Post Office, a designated operator of the Overseas Territories of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, informed the UPU of a change affecting the conveyance of international postal dispatches to and from Gibraltar. Following the conclusion of the relevant agreement between the UK (of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) and the EU with respect to Gibraltar, which was expected to enter into provisional application on 15 July 2026, commercial air transport operating to and from Gibraltar will no longer be permitted to carry any commercial freight, including international postal dispatches. As a result, only passengers’ personal luggage and limited aircraft-related operational supplies may be transported on such commercial flights.
- Therefore, with effect from 15 July 2026: * international postal dispatches will no longer be transported by air directly to or from Gibraltar; * consequently, all inbound and outbound international letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items addressed to or originating from Gibraltar will be conveyed solely via land transport through Spain.
