Parcel import changes in Europe: Elimination of the EU de miminis exemption:
As of July 1, 2026, the European Union has ended the €150 de minimis customs duty exemption for low-value imports. Small parcels shipped directly to consumers from outside the EU now face a flat €3 customs duty per declaration line, with extra handling fees and product data tracking rolling out later in the year.
