Canada to impose additional counter-tariffs on US origin goods

Canada has announced that effective September 8, 2026, they will impose 15, 25, and 50 percent tariffs on some US made goods. Canada’s counter tariffs will focus on goods including steel, dairy, appliances, agricultural equipment, pulp and paper, electronics, and others.
